Integrity is a BIG word in any business dealing - we believe in a 'win-win' for all. In recent weeks (as of this writing in November 2019), we've discovered after buying a vinyl record collection, that a particular record was worth more than what we originally appraised and paid the seller. We are proud to say that in this situation, we drove back to the sellers home and paid them an extra $50.00 cash; and in another even more recent situation, we got back in contact with the seller and we paid them $238.50 via e-transfer.
Wow ... thank you! You and your honesty are amazing ...

Update: July 2021; another situation recently arose wherein the value of a particular record (one of our collectors eagerly paid higher than originally expected) far exceeding the original appraisal. Consequently, we got back in contact with the original seller, and sent them an additional $28.50 via e-transfer to make up the difference.
It is not always possible to be 100% perfectly accurate in our initial assessment of your album collection's value while we are also trying to do so typically within an hour, typically in your home, and while determining the value of your records during the initial buy process. Occasionally, a collector is willing to pay higher, or some factor of extra value isn't obvious when we had our first glance at your record collection - but in the case should this happen, we will contact you, we let you know of the difference in what we should have paid you, and we will pay you that difference.
So to answer the question: are we fair and honest? We certainly believe very much so.
